There’s nobody else like you in the world, and the world needs you. You are worthy of a good life. The time has come to shift your harsh, critical self-talk that echoes the messages you received as a child into one that is compassionate and healing. You bring special gifts of resilience and empathy to your career and colleagues.

What you survived from your childhood has made you a survivor. You have insight, perspective, depth of experiences that enrich your relationships at work on a daily basis – and throughout your career over time. When your empathy comes from a place of deep hurt and pain, you’re more able to accept and receive other people where they are in their own healing journey.

Healing your wounds will make you an extraordinary, inspiring leader.

As you continue on your journey to healing your wounds, you’ll find that people are drawn to you. You are becoming increasingly comfortable in your own life and skin, which makes everyone feel safe to be themselves around you. In that setting of confidence and mutual acceptance, you can speak to the greatness of everyone in your life. Your teams and your family alike will see the potential of their best selves in your eyes.

8.

You have precious opportunity to heal your family by taking home what you learn at work.

When you’re at work, you have the chance, every day, to practice your belief in yourself, your self-acceptance, and your joy in discovering your value for the world. Learning how to confidently thrive at work, in a positive, collaborative, productive, hopeful way, gives you the methodology to teach your family at home. When you learn new ways to override the workplace triggers that stem from your past drama and trauma, you can take those exact skills home to positively shape and influence the relationships that are closest to you personally. You become the teacher. You become the healer.
